Issue card

This page allows the user to Issue debit and credit cards to clients who applied for them under Savings/Credit and debit cards/Request Card.

How do we issue a debit and credit card ?

To issue debit and credit cards go to Savings/Credit and debit cards/Issue card, the following screen appears.

Note: The list of all clients who requested for debit and credit cards will appear in the grid. Click on the client you want to issue the card.

• Issue date: Enter here the issue date of the debit/ credit card e.g. "10/02/2016".
• Request date: Once the client is selected from the grid, the "Request date" will populate in this field based on the earlier information provided during the card request e.g 08/02/2016.
• Account number: Once the client is selected from the grid, the "Account number" will appear in this field based on the earlier information provided during the card request e.g. "DB/I/000009".
• Account name: Once the client is selected from the grid, the "Account name" of the client will appear in this field based on the earlier information provided during the card request e.g. "Mike Rose Akol".
• Savings product: The client's savings product will automatically appear in this field e.g "Free savings".
• ATM card number: The first 6 digits in this field appear automatically and are the ATM issue Identification number provided by the ATM service provider. It is not modifiable. The next fields will be entered according to the MFI numbering e.g. "12345-12-3456-1233".
• Expiration: From the drop down menu select the Month and Year when the debit / credit card is to expire e.g. January 2017.
• Issue: This option comes ticked by default and allows you to issue the card to the client.
• Reject: Select this option for clients whose card requests did not meet the requirement of the service provider and you must specify the Reason why e.g. "wrong details provided". Another card can be made / processed for the client but not the one that was rejected.
